Amazing Benefits of Striking
Complete Self-Defense
A total self-defense system requires knowledge of striking techniques, as well as grappling skills. Our striking classes offer a blend of Boxing and Muay Thai techniques – punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. The goal is producing students who are confident in all phases of confrontation. Combined with our BJJ program, you’ll have a complete martial arts skill set.
Real Technique, Not Cardio
This isn’t a fitness class with boxing gloves. You’ll learn proper stance, motion, and footwork as the foundation to proper striking. From there, we teach sound striking combinations paired with movement and defensive work – blocks, slips, and parries. As students progress, controlled sparring is sprinkled into training for a realistic fight scenario and an incredible workout.
A Great Workout
Forget the treadmill. Forget the rowing machine. Nothing burns like pad work, heavy bag rounds, and live drilling. Our striking classes are fun, intense, and give you a full-body cardio workout while you’re actually learning real skills. You’ll leave tired, but you’ll leave better.

What Members Are Saying?
What a Typical Striking Class Looks Like
Step 1: Warm-Up & Movement
We start with basic motion drills – stance, footwork, and movement patterns using ladders, ropes, or cones.
Step 2: Technique & Drilling
Each class focuses on specific striking techniques. After the coach demonstrates, you’ll work the moves on heavy bags or pads with a partner while the coach rotates and provides individual feedback.
Step 3: Defense & Sparring
You’ll learn the proper ways to block, slip, and parry incoming strikes. Some sessions end with a light, controlled sparring round with protective gear. Sparring is always optional – there’s never any pressure.
